Canning Jar Appliqué

Use that favorite fabric of yours to fill a canning jar!  These canning jar lids are embellished or plain and then appliquéd down with satin stitch.   Depending on the fabric you use, the canning jars can be either realistic as shown above or totally whimsical! 

The first stitching (color) shows you where fabric should be place.  The second stitching (color) tacks the fabric down.  Then, the embellishments are stitched.  Finally, a satin stitch is used to finish the edges!  These would be lovely on a wall hanging, in a quilt, on placemats or towels!!  Here it is shown on a dishtowel with lovely raspberry fabric!

The designs are available in the following formats:  PCS, PES, HUS, SEW.   Note that to stitch the large jars, you do need a large hoop.  For details on the different formats, including sizes, see below.  Additional formats may become available by contacting us directly. (Contact us) 

Designs included:

• 3 canning jar styles, with three sizes in each style.  The largest jar is 141 mm X 96 mm.  The largest small jar is 81 mm X 77 mm.
• Each of the 9 canning jar style/size combinations has either a plain lid or an embellished lid.
